Ashley Tengler

Campus Life Engagement Coordinator

When I used to think about what my life would look like and what I would be doing, I never could have imagined the amazing things God had in store.  I went to college at Malone University and majored in Psychology with a minor in Youth Ministry, never expecting to really use my minor.  Little did I know, God had something else in store.  Through serving in my church's youth ministry, I realized that this was not only my passion, but God's calling on my life and that He would equip me and work through me.  My youth pastor first told me about Youth for Christ, and being here now, I can safely say this was my God-sized dream.  My heart is for youth hearing the Gospel of Christ and meeting Jesus in a real and life-changing way!

From 2016-2020, I was able to serve YFC as the Independence Campus Life Club Director.  Working with the students, community, parents, and volunteers in that capacity was one of the greatest joys of my life.  In 2020, my role transitioned to the Engagement Coordinator for Campus Life.  I have the privilege of working with our Campus Life partners, donors, and volunteers.  I also am able to serve our chapter by coordinating chapter-wide Ministry Events, as well as our chapter social media, e-newsletters, and website.  I am so grateful for the incredible honor of serving the Lord through my role in YFC.
